Using mirror condensation method

Water activity meter AW01-MC is based on the mirror condensation dew point method.

Widely used in pharmaceuticals, food, and other fields to ensure that the risk of microbial contamination in products is controllable.

Features

Working Principle:

The dew point temperature is determined by cooling a mirror in the sample chamber until condensation occurs and recording the mirror temperature at that point. The saturated vapor pressure (P) can be obtained from a table using this dew point temperature. The ratio of this saturated vapor pressure (P) to the saturated vapor pressure (P0) of pure water is the water activity (aw=P/P0).
